I would like the created thumbnail to have the extension Jpg rather than jpg. Is this possible? I tried looking at the code to see if I could hex patch the code, but don't see a way to do that. Others may not care but the initial cap helps in the way some of my programs sort names.

I see, but I would recommend to use an external tools to rename *.jpg to *.Jpg.
Also I could make a personal edition of current VTM version for you, if you are a registered user (at least Silver).

I am a gold owner. If the extension is hard coded, perhaps I could patch my version. I don't mind using a hexeditor if that won't mess up the software. I did look for the extension hardcoded, but couldn't locate the entry. I'm using 5.0.0.4 which works just fine. I do currently use an external program to edit the extension, but it's just a step I'd like to skip in automating my Usenet posting activity.

Whenever you get the opportunity. I can patch via a hex editor if you tell me where. I've just upgraded to the latest version. I'm not sure why you couldn't make the change global. Do you think many users would care if the extension was .Jpg vs .jpg? All I would like is for the first letter to be in caps. That seems to ensure PowerPost that the thumbnail will be first regardless of the video file extension. It sorts alphabetically with caps in front of any other name. That ensures the preview will always precede the video when posting to that obsolete Usenet world.

I'll be looking forward to the personal version. I still think it would be useful to others.
