I find that when ripping some old videos, the occassional video (which is presumably corrupt) take 30 minutes or more to crawl through. As a result, a batch like the following takes much longer than it need to.

Video1.mp4 - 10 seconds
Video2.mp4 - 10 seconds
Video3.mp4 - 1800 secondsVideo1.mp4 - 10 seconds
Video4.mp4 - 10 seconds

So, in the above example, a process which should have 40 seconds, takes 1830 seconds!

I suggest therefore that a 'Maximum Rip Time' value be configurable in Options - I would set it to say 30 seconds, in which case the resulting rip time of the above batch would be down to 60 seconds (from 1830 seconds)

Video1.mp4 - 10 seconds
Video2.mp4 - 10 seconds
Video3.mp4 - 30 seconds (limited by timeout)
Video4.mp4 - 10 seconds

If the "Maximum Rip Time" were exceeded, VTM would simply skip the file and move to the next video in the queue.

Thank you.

Timeouts are implemented in VTM 15.0.0.0.
