Hi,
I apologize in advance is this has already been asked but I found it very frustrating to not being able to convert in any video format except for .avi.
For example today, I've tried to thumbnail an mp4 video file and tho it did cut, they were completely unuseful (others formats directly lead to 'error').
Does this have anything to do with upgrading to 'crystal'? Is there something I can do to achieve it and if yes, how? I'm kind of desperately because I found VTM the best
tool for this purpose. Thank you in advance, grateful for any info.

1) Sorry, I did not catch. Have you tried to use Crystal engine?
2) Please make sure you are using the latest version of the program.
3) What is written in Diag.log file in the program's folder after that errors?
4) Have you triend to install CCCP codec pack and use Engine 1/2, Extreme Engine?
