title versus filename

Hi,
I just discovered this software, it looks really nice! I have a lot of video clips to organize...
Question: Is there a way to set the title of a movie independently of its filename? Currently I see something like lingerie08.mp4 when I would like to use the proper title, "Lingerie Models 2008". I don't see a way to do this in the current version though, correct? (except for renaming the file or adding a custom comment, both of which aren't really what I'm looking for...)
