Unable to add *.ram files

When I drag a *.ram file onto the application, nothing appears! Is there anyway to index a *.ram file? The video plays fine in MPC.
I have never encountered with *.ram video extension.
Google says it is "Real Audio Metadata File".
Where can I find a specification for that kind of files?
