Problem:
I have a folder with many videos. The videos have different aspect ratio, such as 3: 2, 4: 3, 16: 9 etc.
If I put them into VTM, it only generates the default video ratio preview.

I have to presort all videos. That's a lot of work. I use MediaInfo for Format-Preview.

My Needs:
I want VTM to do this all alone. The VTM automatically detects what aspect ratio the video has and is creating the optimal preview for my screen size.

Is this somehow possible?

If not, the presets would be more useful in the Main View.
Every time I change the format, more than 4 mouse clicks are required...

Does a batchfile or softwaretool exist, for presorting my videos in the same aspect ratio?

Just set "Fit Screen" checkbox ON in the Options window (F2 hotkey).

I would have loved that VTM the layout settings (x + y Frame Frame) automatically adjusts.

Ok, I see, you want to adjust the layout automatically.
Currently that is not possible.

The main problem is to choose the "base" characteristic to calculate the rest of parameters.
I need an elegant solution and I do not want to make Options overcomplicated.
