When viewing the thumbnail in network location, you can't start the video because viewer can't find the video. It's trying to look in local drive(C:\,D:\ etc). You have to manually locate video first. It's kind of annoying.

It's used to just work in previous version(6.4.0.4). Is there any option to force viewer to look at the same folder(xxx.mp4 instead of C:\xxx.mp4) or something similar?

Thank

The file is in the E:\video.mp4 and E:\video.mp4.jpg in the host computer

But if trying to open the thumbnail from other computer in the network with \\host\shared-e\video.mp4.jpg. The viewer wouldn't be able to find the video.

When you manually locate video. It showed that the viewer trying to open video with E:\video.mp4.

Thumbnail created by the host computer. There would be no problem if I use the viewing pc to create thumbnail on the host computer.

Still can not reproduce the issue.
Please make sure you have the latest versions of VTM and PTM (Picture Thumbnails Maker, if you use it) on BOTH computers (host and remote).

Okay, I try different thing.
On remote PC, I create thumbnail locally "E:\video.mp4" "E:\video.mp4.jpg" and I don't have to manually locate video to start video at specific time.

But when I move both thumbnail and video to different folder "E:\New\video.mp4" and "E:\New\video.mp4.jpg". I have to manually locate video again.

I can reproduce this on my host PC.

Edit: I believe this is the same issue as viewtopic.php?p=402#p402

So I try move those video and thumbnail back to "E:\video.mp4" "E:\video.mp4.jpg" and it's just work.

Edit2: When those files in "E:\New\video.mp4" "E:\New\video.mp4.jpg" press f1 would start video without the need to manually locate first.
